# Consistent
An argument is considered **consistent** if all the statements, premises, or beliefs within it can be true simultaneously without any contradictions. In a consistent argument, each part of the argument supports the others logically, and there’s no *internal* conflict. Consistency doesn’t necessarily mean the argument is true; it just means the statements don’t conflict with each other.
